My initial reaction was a bit "meh" but then I started to use some of the products and really enjoy this box!
Love the Deborah Lippmann Lip & Nail Duo, especially the Glamorous Life nail polish which is a beautiful rose-gold. The Vosges mini chocolate library includes 9 different flavors such as Mo's Milk Chocolate Bacon and Caramel Toffee (which is missing from the above picture because I couldn't wait to try it lol).
The Tocca candle smells divine, as does the Epicuren After Bath moisturizer which works really well. Lastly, the Compagnie de Provence hand soap sounds kind of boring but it comes in a beautiful glass bottle that looks really elegant next to the sink. According to the website, the scent "blends white flowers, ripe citrus and subtle hints of musk, topped off with a light salty note."
The only two items I'm still a little iffy about are the clutch and cuff. The JewelMint clutch is very interesting because it opens up like a flask, though it's not really my style. The bracelet is really pretty but cuffs don't look that great on my wrist. I'm happy to try both items out, however, because you never know! Overall, I'm pleased with POPSUGAR's first luxury edition box.

I LOVE Vosges! I've never had the bacon & toffee bar - so jealous! Was it worth $100 to you?
ReplyDeleteI've been going back and forth with that question lol. After tallying up the prices of all the items, I can clearly see the monetary value is over $100. But when thinking about my "personal value" I'm not so sure that it's worth $100 (mostly because of the two items that aren't really my style). Also, I think I was expecting more of a "wow" factor, you know? I'm happy overall - really like the Deborah Lippmann items, and the candle and after-bath moisturizer are great (as was the chocolate hehe)!

ReplyDeleteWhat a bummer! It seems like they should have tried to make sure duplicate scents didn't go out in the same box. After reading all the reviews about the luxury box, I wonder how PS will treat/curate these going forward!
