Missha Perfect Cover B.B. Cream!

I've written about B.B. cream before and it seems the trend is still continuing for good reason. B.B. creams are a powerhouse in the makeup industry because they offer more benefits than a typical foundation. Most often, this means you get coverage + SPF protection, hydration, blemish treatment, and sometimes anti-aging treatment as well.

I received Missha's Perfect Cover B.B. Cream via GLOSSYBOX and didn't really use it for a while because I've been loving my Laura Mercier Silk Creme foundation. However, when I went home to Michigan for the holidays, my skin began to crave more moisture due to the cold weather. Luckily I had the Missha on-hand and am so happy I did. Since then, I've been using the B.B. cream as much as the LMSCF and really love it.

No. 27 (Honey Beige) sample and No. 23 (Natural Beige) full-size

I've been using the shade #27 (Honey Beige); I'm very pleased that it matches my skins yellow undertones very well and doesn't oxidize! The consistency is a bit different than the Boscia B.B. Cream I've used before (review here) - it's thicker and therefore offers more coverage (redness and blemish) which is great. Also unlike the Boscia B.B. Cream, Missha Perfect Cover does not contain any shimmer and leaves a more natural, matte finish. It blends really nicely into the skin when I use the Tarte Airbrush Finish foundation brush, and I really like the amount of coverage the Missha B.B. cream offers - I'd say it's about medium. Definitely make sure to set this with powder for longer-lasting coverage.

Missha's Perfect Cover offers the following properties: SPF 42 PA+++, wrinkle care, skin whitening properties, coverage, and blemish care. (You may be wondering what PA+++ means - well, all SPF offers UVB protection, but if you see a product labeled with PA, it means it also offers UVA protection. The +'s show the various levels, so more +'s equal stronger protection). While some B.B. creams are unfortunately nothing more than a glorified tinted moisturizer, Missha's Perfect Cover is a true to it's name. You can check out Missha at misshaus.com!

  1. Missha Perfect Cover and Signature M are two of my favorite BB creams! The Boscia seemed too watery and not enough coverage to me.

    1. I agree with you about the Boscia - I still like it, but it pales in comparison to the coverage Missha gives! So glad we got to sample it through GB!
